This book is an autobiography of our Malaysian Astronaut or angkasawan from the point of view of his own brother, Ajil.The first part of this book deals with Ajils childhood memories growing up with four other boisterous boys as his siblings.The author shares his experiences with the readers as his father often quoted to him that Experience is the best teacher.Later, the author continues to share with his readers about his journey and dreams with his elder brother, Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor AlMasrie . The fact that he always believes in his brother, by 2007 Dr Sheikh Muszaphar became the first Malaysian Astronaut to went into space. The author passed away after a few days in coma. The second part of this book shares the sadness and loneliness felt by his family members. This book is a dedication from Ajils brothers, Amus, Abang, Opik and Arwiz,to Ajil, in memory of him. Lastly, this book includes last words of Ajils father and Ajils wife to him. The book is written from the perspective of a brother who looks upon Amus who is selfless, humble and determined in everything that he does. The language is extremely simple and the point of view is very consistent for its time. The book moves at a relaxing pace and is extremely absorbing without being dull or loose. Reaching For The Stars is a poignant memoir, revealing a brothers love and unbashed admiration for his elder brother.Truly inspirational and packed with emotional power, this book motivates me the meaning of family and everlasting bond between siblings.Other than that, this book teaches me to believe in myself and dare to dream in our most inexplicable abilities.This book will pull at your heartstrings and a treat for readers of all ages.
