Guidelines for Seminar Report

Guidelines for Seminar Report:


The following are the guidelines to prepare the report: 1. All pages should be in a single side and no back- to- back print outs are allowed in the report 2. All paragraphs should be neatly justified 3. Font size must be 12 point (Times New Roman) for the body (text) with 1.5 line spacing and 16 for Chapter Title and 14 for the Sub title 4. Number of pages can vary from 30 60 based on the title. (For one concept/algorithm explanation, minimum of 30 and for general technology / concept, maximum is 60) 5. Inserting more number of images with lot of spacing between image and text or between images , starting of a new topic in the next page leaving a lot of space in the current page are strictly prohibited. 6. Except for the cover page and Certificate, all the pages in the report should have a top and bottom margin as shown in this document itself. 7. The title of the seminar should be on top of the header margin (left aligned) and Department name and page number should be in the footer (refer this document) 8. Both hard and soft copy of the seminar report and IEEE format along with the presentation to be submitted on the presentation day. 9. Follow the naming conventions for the all the files submitting as soft copy. a. USN No- <Seminar Title>.doc b. USN No- <Seminar Title>-8 Page.doc c. USN No- <Seminar Title>.ppt 10. Seminar reports are to be spiral bounded with purple color only 11. For IEEE reports, print outs must be in back to back and mere stapling those sheets is enough
