Do you have dreams and visions? Do you have a gift or talent? Andyou’re not sure what to do or which direction to take your vision.Many of us have dreams and visions, but not many of us understandwhere dreams and visions come from, so we end up misdirected and notknowing what to do with our lives. When we don’t know where our dreamscome from, we start to believe in ourselves and look for recognition fromthe world. But if the world doesn’t like what we offer, we become disap- pointed and fearful, and our dreams and visions die within us.Be encouraged and of good cheer! There’s a much higher sourcethan us. He is the Creator of the universe. The One who created you: fear-fully, wonderfully, and marvelously made you in His image. You are theapple of His eye, created, handcrafted from head to toe, placed in the gardenwhere the Nile River flows. He is the Potter, and you are the clay. Goddesigned you to do wonderful things in the earth. He placed every dream,vision, gift, and talent within you Himself. You are His precious treasure.Your gifts and talents were placed within you to bring God glory in theearth! You are a king of the KING. The Bible says in 1 Peter 2:9 that youare “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called youout of darkness into His marvelous light.” You are placed in God’s King-dom on the earth to do the work God has ordained for you to do. The Biblesays in Ephesians 2:10, “For we are His workmanship, created in ChristJesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we shouldwalk in them.”You are to use your gifts and talents in your schools and homes,on your jobs, and wherever God has ordained you to use them. Now Ihave heard people say, “I don’t have any talent.” That is impossible!Every living creature on earth was created with a purpose in God’smind. That purpose must be performed in God’s timing and in the rightseason. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:1, “To every thing there is aseason, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” You have al-ready been given the power to exercise your God-given creativity in thisearthly realm. Whether you are an author, actor, singer, dancer, or car- penter, God’s glory is revealed every time you display your gifts andtalents. Every gift and talent within you is for the glory of God, and itshall be manifested in this earthly realm in God’s timing. You shall dogreat works. Jesus said in John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hethat believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father.”Jesus promised that a higher power than ourselves will come andteach us all things: “But the Counselor, which is the Holy Ghost, whom theFather will send in My name, he shall teach you all things, and bring allthings to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you” (John14:26). Ask the Lord what He would have you do every morning when youarise, and He will tell you. Jesus said in John 14:14, “If ye shall ask anything in My name, I will do it.”Dr. Myles Munroe said, “Every time we walk into a library or a bookstore, we are surrounded by glory.The bookshelves are filled with it. Will your glory ever be ondisplay for others to enjoy?”
