Stony Brook University Library – Mid- Day (Outside: Bitter Cold & Sunny)

The campus is desolate; "Kristen" walks up the stairs towards the library where she will attempt to do her assignments despite being emotionally troubled

She stumbles, falls and forces herself to get up.

(Shot from below the stairs, midway up the stairs & on top of the stairs as the character makes her wayup.)

Library - Inside / day

The troubled girl makes her way up the stairs to the library stacks to search for books for her research project

(Shot from below the next set of stairs: Dissolve to next scene)

Library – Stacks

She searches for books and a place of solitude.We see her as she walks through the library alone.

(Long Shot & Pan from opposite end of book shelves while she is walking, fade into next scene, P.O.V. of a book on the shelf as she searches for her books, fade into next scene)

Library - Study Area / Early Afternoon

Girl works feverishly

-the cell phone vibrates displaying the name “Eddie P.”

She becomes more agitated and tries desperately to become lost in her work.-The cell phone vibrates again displaying the same name- “Eddie P.”

A little later.... The girl searches for more and more books then goes back to her workspace; she startsworking and it then interrupted by one of her peers.

walks up to the desk behind

and notices the mess of books, old teacups, the phone, thestained paper...

-The cell phone vibrates again displaying the same name: “Eddie P.”
