Step 1 - Download the Wallet Template.
This template is a Photoshop Document and can be down-loaded here.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/20055004/Wallet/wallet.psd.It is important to note that the template has 3 layers:• Wallet Outline - The outside shape of the template.• Fold Lines - Shows where the wallet is folded. As well whichside is up and down for the main face.• Shape 1 - Shows the card cut out for the inside of the wallet. Each of these layers should be kept on top of all your layers so thatyou have them as a reference. When it comes time to print yourwallet you want to hide the fold lines so that they do not print onthe surface of your wallet.
Step 2 - Plan Your Design.
Your wallet should tell story about who you are, what youlike, or a design style that you are interested in. With thisin mind create a post on your blog that explains your plansin relation to:Theme -Style -Tools Needed (Brushes, Textures) -Plan your design to fit the supplied layout. Make sure thatthe orientation of your design fits the end orientation of thepiece of the wallet. The arrows in the following imageshow which side of each panel is up. The panel labeled“Outside” is the outside face of the wallet. The panel la- beled “Inside” is the inside of the the wallet where you in-set your cards. The panel labeled “Centre Cut Out” is visi- ble through the card cut out in the inside panel. The otherpanels make up the panels in the 2 money slots. These pan-els are important in your overall design, however they areonly visible when opening the wallet.
