Since 1980 About Us Our company was founded in Bogota, Colombia in 1980 with a clear mission to promote cultural and educational exchanges abroad and the need to strengthen English as a second language. SEI has an extensive experience in areas of education, cultural and recreational programs. We represent universities and language schools in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom, and we have the representation of sponsors approved by the U.S. State Department to provide cultural exchange programs in the United States. In SEI we have 31 years experience sending students abroad Colombian positioning ourselves as a reliable and successful company. Foundation Joseph H. Nunes, an American based in Colombia for over 35 years with a Masters in Education from the University of New York City, back when he was director of the Colombo Americano in Medellin, saw the need in the Colombian population to learn English and improve their English skills. In 1980 he founded Servicio Educativo Internacional (International Educational Services) a company that currently has a long history of promoting cultural exchange and study programs abroad, in order to generate personal and academic growth for students and professionals. USA Work and Travel Program Experience the best cultural exchange program on your summer vacation! Sponsor by CIEE, Alliance Abroad Group and Geovisions Work & Travel is a cultural exchange program that allows full-time college students, who want to travel to the U.S., meet friends from different cultures, practice English and have the experience of living in American culture, to work in an unskilled paid work during their university holidays with J-1 visa. In this program we have an experience of 24 seasons where about 8,000 students from most universities in Bogot and universities of Armenia, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Cali, Florencia, Ibague, Manizales, Pereira and Valledupar have travelled trough us and sponsored by CIEE, Alliance Abroad Group or Geovisions. Internship / Professional Career Training (PCT) Program USA You decide on your future and we will help you shape it Sponsor by CIEE Internship USA and PCT are programs oriented to full-time college undergraduate or (graduate of at least 1 year) and graduates who want to do their training or practice in the U.S. under a visa J-1 status. This program offers the opportunity to learn about American culture, their technologies, teamwork and ways to bring the knowledge into practice while training in a real working environment. In this program we have 10 years of experience where applicants have come from various universities within Colombia, such as EAFIT University, Colombian School of Engineering, School of Engineering of Antioquia, Pontificia Bolivariana University, Sabana University and others.

English as a Second Language Program SEI has an extensive experience in areas where education is aimed at learning and perfecting a second language such as English. We represent universities and language schools in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom. In this program we have 31 years of experience sending students abroad who have all had the best experience in both educational and cultural levels. We have provided high school students the opportunity to spend a fun vacation at summer camps in the U.S., Canada and England.
