Join an Edmodo Group!

1. Log into edmodo.com

2. On the left navigational menu, click on Join

3. Enter the group code and click join

4. Look under Groups in the navigational menu on the left and you should see your new group. Click on it.

5. Post a comment by clicking in the box marked type your note here. You can attach files, link to other websites and share from your Edmodo Library of documents. Why should you join an Edmodo group?
To stay connected with your school community & beyond! A teacher at posted ideas about how to incorporate art into the content areas that she learned at a recent convention.

Be sure the correct group is highlighted in blue in the Send box.

She shared great ideas that she would not have necessarily had the chance to share, in such detail, with all teachers at a faculty meeting or even with all the teachers on her grade level.

Edmodo gave her the best venue to begin a discussion! Her post prompted a discussion between a classroom teacher, principal, librarian Other teachers responded with specific projects they did in their classrooms & the librarian responded with specific titles teachers could find via the Destiny Online Library Catalog: Notice too, that our conversation is asynchronous. We teach in different buildings, & different grade levels. Edmodo gave us a venue for our discussion that exposed the ideas to ALL teachers 24/7.
