Planning for the
BASS Festival

has begun and Punch would like tocommission up to four very special events/productions to include in theprogramme next June. This year's theme is based on
Africa,

The visual arts exhibition
Bollywood Stills
, produced by Punch in partnership with Shisha has openedat the
Contact Theatre
in Manchester. The launch night attracted a great amount of visitors and theexhibition looks great in the theatre’s foyers where it catches the eye of many audiences. Bollywood Stillsis at Contact until March 2009 so there is plenty of time for you to catch it. For more information visitwww.contact-theatre.org.uk.
Last month Punch partnered with gospel and soul artist
Witness
and trainingacademy
Access to Music
to take a group of young musicians to the
RoyalAlbert Hall
in London to perform as special guests at the School’s Prom,organised by Music for Youth. The concert was celebrated the very best ofyouth music and Punch were invited to get involved to showcase thediversity of contemporary music. The group, MCs Lady L and Dewayne,vocalist Sherelle, drummer Tom and bassist Andy performed their track
Back to the Future
which they composed especially for the event. Theyreceived an amazing response from the audience and it was a greatexperience for everyone involved.
