The Online Shopping is a web based application intended for onlineretailers. The main objective of this application is to make it interactive and its ease of use.It would make searching, viewing and selection of a product easier. It contains asophisticated search engine for user's to search for products specific to their needs. Thesearch engine provides an easy and convenient way to search for products where a user canSearch for a product interactively and the search engine would refine the products available based on the user’s input. The user can then view the complete specification of each product. They can also view the product reviews and also write their own reviews. Theapplication also provides a drag and drop feature so that a user can add a product to theshopping cart by dragging the item in to the shopping cart. The main emphasis lies in providing a user friendly search engine for effectively showing the desired results and itsdrag and drop behavior.Services from a store that serves both walk-in customers and onlinecustomers. The online shopping system presents an online display of an order cutoff timeand an associated delivery window for items selected by the customer. The system acceptsthe customer's submission of a purchase order for the item in response to a time of submission being before the order cutoff time. The online shopping system does not settlewith a credit supplier of the customer until the item selected by the customer is picked frominventory but before it is delivered. Therefore, the customer can go online and makechanges to the order. In addition, available service windows are presented to the customer as a function of customer selected order and service types; and further, the order picking isassigned in accordance with a picker's preference.
