*70:4, the Qur'an says:
ﻝﺍَﻭ ُ ﺔَ ﻛِ ﺋَﻼَ ﻣْ ﻟﺍ ُ ﺝُ ﺭْ ﻌَ ﺗُ ﺡﻭﱡ ﺭٍ ﺔَ ﻧَ ﺳ َﻑْ ﻟَﺃ َﻥﻳِ ﺳْ ﻣَ ﺧ ُ ﻩُ ﺭﺍَﺩْ ﻘِ ﻣ َﻥﺎَ ﻛ ٍﻡْ ﻭَ ﻳ ﻲِ ﻓ ِ ﻪْ ﻳَ ﻟِﺇ
4. TaAAruju almala-ikatu waalrruhu ilayhi fee yawmin kana miqdaruhu khamseenaalfa sanatin
The angels and the Ruh (Spirit) ascend unto Him in a Day the measure whereof is (as)fifty thousand years:NB: this is where the Ruh goes (ascends to him(Allah)), if the word Ruh is refering to thebreath of life .But it might refer also to the archangel Gabriel peace be upon him.*15:29, the Qur'an says:
ﻥِ ﻣ ِ ﻪﻳِ ﻓ ُ ﺕْ ﺧَ ﻔَ ﻧَﻭ ُ ﻪُ ﺗْ ﻳﱠ ﻭَ ﺳ ﺍَﺫِﺈَ ﻓِﺡﻭﱡ ﺭَﻥﻳِﺩِ ﺟﺎَ ﺳ ُ ﻪَ ﻟ ْ ﺍﻭُ ﻌَ ﻘَ ﻓ ﻱ
29. Fa-itha sawwaytuhu wanafakhtu feehi minruhee faqaAAoo lahu sajideena
"When I have fashioned him (Adam) (in due proportion) and breathed into him of MyRuh (Spirit), fall ye down in obeisance unto him."*17:85, the Qur'an says:
ﻝﺍ ِﻥَ ﻋ َﻙَ ﻧﻭُ ﻟَﺄْ ﺳَ ﻳَﻭِﺡﻭﱡ ﺭﻝﺍ ِﻝُ ﻗُ ﺡﻭﱡ ﺭًﻼﻳِ ﻠَ ﻗ ﱠ ﻻِﺇ ِﻡْ ﻠِ ﻌْ ﻟﺍ ﻥﱢ ﻣ ﻡُ ﺗﻳِ ﺗﻭُ ﺃ ﺎَ ﻣَﻭ ﻲﱢ ﺑَﺭ ِﺭْ ﻣَﺃ ْ ﻥِ ﻣ
85. Wayas-aloonaka AAani alrruhi quli alrruhu min amri rabbee wama ooteetum mina
alAAilmi illa qaleelan
And they ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning the Rûh (the Spirit); Say: "The Rûh(the Spirit): is one of the things, the knowledge of which is only with my Lord. And of knowledge, you (mankind) have been given only a little."
The Nafs is what you are and who you are ; your entity.It is what will be reckoned ,enter hell or paradise. it is that of one's self which uses thebody as an instrument, and thus governs and controls all parts of it in a comprehensivemanner. It is that part which is responsible for one's actions whether these actions aregood or bad (mind and will).and it is always attributed to human (Self).When someone begins to die the Angel of Death or Izraeel comes to take the Nafs out of the body and puts it in a place called the
where it (the Nafs ) is exposed to itsseat in
hell or paradise till the day of judgement and that is a real torture for those whowill see that they will go to hell and not paradise.
