todiscusstheinvestigationwiththisFirmatamutuallyconvenienttime.Infact,Rep.Pattersonhasnotbeeneagertocooperatewiththisinvestigationonanyone'stermsotherthanhisown.Whetherthroughdesperatedenialoradisturbingrefusaltoacknowledgereality,Rep.PattersoninsistsonignoringthescopeofthisinvestigationandtheHouse'slawfulabilitytodisciplinehim,insteadattemptingtounilaterallynarrowthescopeofthisinvestigation.
