One day, four of us were able to gowith our contact down to the delta. The trip was a grueling six and a half hours in the back of a truck one wayand then an hour and a half on abeautiful boat ride.
WE WERE ABLE TOVISIT TWOCHRISTIAN SQAWKAREN VILLAGES.IN THE SECONDVILLAGE,
we were able to hand out clothes forthe 250 families living there, and Goddid a miracle. We had just two duffelbags of clothes, but as we kept reachinginto the bags, more and more clotheswere there to pull out. We were givingout handfuls – enough for everyone.God multiplied the clothes right infront of our eyes. It reminded me of thefeeding of the 5,000. God is awesome!I’m trusting that He will do this more often, especially in themultiplication of Bibles. Our next stop was Vietnam where we have been ministeringfor over 17 years, carrying Bibles and other materials to helpthe persecuted church. I called our contact in the morning andtold him that we would be arriving that night. We were blessedto walk right through customs, and the contact met us at theairport and took us to his house to unload the Bibles. He was very excited to see the large load of 1,000 HmongBibles and 60 Chinese Pastor Study Bibles, telling us how hehad just met with Hmong pastors throughout the country whowere requesting more Bibles. He had told them they wouldneed to pray since he didn’t know when the next shipmentwould come in. He had just returned late the night before, andthen we showed up with a large load of Bibles! It was amazinghow God orchestrated this whole trip in order to help meet theneeds of the Hmong Christians in Vietnam. Before we left, herequested another 5,000 to 10,000 more immediately. Our next stop was Laos where three of us delivered anotherlarge load of Bibles and, again, were blessed to walk rightthrough customs. We were able to help meet the needs of
Our last team of nine men flew into Burma with 29duffel bags full of supplies.Thankfully the overweightcharges were minimal, and all the materials passed safely  through customs.
DEAR FRIENDS,IT’S AMAZING THE TIMES WE ARELIVING IN! IN SPITE OF THE ALL THEOPPOSITION AND DIFFICULTIES,WE ARESEEING GOD AT WORK.

Christians there. People in these countries are hungry for thetruth of God’s Word and are continually requesting Bibles.
I APPLIED FOR A VISA TO GOTO CHINA BUT WAS REFUSEDBY THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT.
After talking to a friend, he explained that when we werestopped in customs during the Olympics, we caused China tolose face before the whole world. He explained that theChinese government had worked hard to show the world thateverything is great in China and that there is religiousfreedom. So when we stood our ground at the airport, notbacking down, it caused a national embarrassment to theChinese government. He reported that government officialsfrom Beijing, Kunming and Yunnan province were discussinghow to address this problem. The experience of being delayed in customs because of Biblesthat are unwanted in China was an inconvenience to us asforeigners, but is miniscule suffering compared to what localbelievers often pay for the Word of God there. We thankGod, however, that He used the situation to share the truthwith the world about religious persecution in China. Theother two team members made several trips into China and,for the most part, were successful. Our contact reports thatthere is great need for more Bibles to help the ChineseChurch. We need people to help us carry them in.
OVER THE PAST YEAR WE’VEHAD MANY PEOPLE ASK USWHY WE ARE CARRYINGBIBLES INTO CHINA
since there are reports that China prints more Bibles than anyother country in the world. While it is true that China printsmore Bibles than any other country, the majority of theseBibles are not in Chinese and they are not for the Chinesepeople in mainland China. The majority of these Bibles aresimply printed in China for other countries and thenexported. Please do not believe reports that ChineseChristians don’t need Bibles. Voice of the Martyrs reportsthat there is currently a 20-year wait for a Bible in China. When I was refused a visa for China, I began asking the Lordwhat is next. My heart has become increasing concerned onreaching the Islamic world with the Gospel. So I will befocusing on working to get God’s Word into Islamic nations. Our work with the communist world will continue as boardmembers and other team leaders will take teams with moreBibles to those in need. Please pray for us as we reach out to the Islamic world. Weknow the opposition is even greater in these areas, but God isnot willing that any perish but that all come to repentance. My life is not my own – I was bought by the blood of Jesuson the cross. The following quotes are some praise reports that we arereceiving from the field to encourage you that God is hearingyour prayers and that your support is being used to touchlives all over the world.
“HALLELUJAH.I AM REALLYEXCITED THAT I AM ABLE TOMAKE GOALS TO REACH HISGRACE AND TRUTH
to more than 50unreached villages within 2008 and to share with more than300 people who never had [the] privilege to hear the GoodNews. I begin my journey to far flung places, sometimeswalking hours, but my ultimate desire is to win more soulsinto His Kingdom. John 15:16. I am so much in tensionbecause His coming is imminent and many are yet to hear theGospel. In this part there are I think the highest number of people groups who are yet to hear the Gospel even once.Your fervent prayers will enable us to do these works, not mywill but His be done and this work is for His glory alone. In[December] I will travel to [a] central area only for His workso please uphold me on this also.”“Join us in giving thanks for the 40-foot container that isnow on its way to Cuba with its precious cargo of 23,000Spanish Bibles. These Bibles were printed in China andshipped by boat and rail to Toronto, Canada, where weloaded them into the container at the Canadian Bible Societyon Monday, Nov. 10, 2008. There [are also] 1,000 EnglishBibles, New Testaments, Scripture booklets and about 50flannel graphs in the container.”
