4) is a two step installation procedure. a) First we need to install Oracle Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.2 (only install , not configure) (Page 5 Onwards) b) Since Weblogic 10.3.4 is not compatible with Oracle Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.2 , we need to upgrade the Oracle Fusion Middleware installation to 11.1.1.4 (Page 15 Onwards) c) After 11.1.1.4 Patchset is installed, We need to do the configuration. (Page 21 Onwards) Steps to start 1. Login as root user (or any other use that has user creation rights) 2. Create a non root user : orclform 3. Add the orclform user to Weblogic Middleware group and give write permissions to Middleware home directory root@gwmdb1 # chmod -R 775 /db1vol4/oracle/wls1034 4. Add orclform to oinstall group which is primary group for Oracle id. Change the user to orclform $ id oracle uid=100(oracle) gid=102(oinstall) root@gwmdb1 # cho usermod -G oinstall orclform root@gwmdb1 # su orclform 5. Create a directory called installable at a suitable location 6. Download the Oracle forms and Reports setup from Oracle site and Copy the Oracle forms and reports 11.1.1.2 (disk1-disk5) & 11.1.1.4 (Disk1 to Disk4) in installers directory and confirm suitable permissions to access the directories.
