STATE OF OKLAHOMA2nd Session of the 53rd Legislature (2012)HOUSE JOINTRESOLUTION 1108By:RichardsonAS INTRODUCEDA Joint Resolution approving permanent rules of theOklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, andForestry; and directing distribution.WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 308 of Title 75 of the OklahomaStatutes, any rule which establishes or increases fees or any ruleby an agency, board, or commission created by or that receives itsauthority from Title 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes shall requireapproval by the Legislature by joint resolution. If the Legislaturefails to approve the rule on or before the last day of thelegislative session, the rule shall be deemed disapproved; andWHEREAS, the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, andForestry cites the following authority for the rules adopted onJanuary 17, 2012: Section 31 of Article VI of the OklahomaConstitution and Sections 2-4 and 14-83 of Title 2 of the OklahomaStatutes; andWHEREAS, the permanent rules adopted by the Department onJanuary 17, 2012, reflect the intent of the Oklahoma Legislature.Req.
