Dear Fellow Drivers:Thank you for taking the time to review the Nebraska Motorcycle Manual. Theinformation in this booklet is designed to help you study for the motorcycle writtenand driving tests. I know that you will find the manual useful. The manual is alsoavailable via the Department of Motor Vehicle's Web site at www.dmv.ne.gov.By reviewing the information in this manual you will increase your chances ofpassing the motorcycle test. You may also learn more about driving safely on ourroads. These days Nebraskans are driving more vehicles, more miles. Thisincreased traffic generally equates to higher crash rates. By being informed and byfollowing the laws and rules of the road, you can reduce the likelihood that you willbe involved in a crash.I wish you safe travels as you drive the many beautiful roads and highways ofNebraska. I also urge you to review the information in this manual from time totime for the safety of all who share our roads.Sincerely,Dave HeinemanGovernor
