Description

On one occasion when reading through the Book of Colossians, I was so impressed
that I read through the book one hundred times in the next thirty days.
It was during this time I became deeply impressed with the deep and rich spiritual
truths presented in the book.
The great doctrines of Colossians are presented against the background of Gnosticism,
and intellectualism, that challenged direct creation and the incarnation
of the Son of God. Because Paul was writing against this background, and to
refute the heresy of Gnosticism, it drew from his brilliant mind the greatest presentation
of Bible doctrine found anywhere in his writings.
