Pro Se Reference Handbook
People acting pro se are people who represent themselves in a legal action. Apro se litigant may only represent themselves; they may not represent anyother person or entity.

The Court requires an original of each document filed. A document is calleda “pleading.” Pleadings must be typed, printed or legibly handwritten on 81/2 x 11 inch paper, and the pages must be sequentially numbered. Anydocumentation submitted with a pleading must be attached to the pleadingand referred to in the pleading.
Copies of CourtDocuments
Do not send exhibits, affidavits, grievance or witness statements, or any othermaterials to the Clerk’s Office to be copied and returned. The fee for anycopying of court documents done by the Clerk’s Office is $0.50 per page forpaper documents and $0.10 per page for electronic documents. Payment isdue at the time of the copy request.
