To meet a multitude of standards in writing, research, reading, and vocabulary development. 2. To learn how creativity and imagination are crucial components of interesting, thought-provoking research. 3. To practice skills of grammar, usage, punctuation, and spelling. 4. To practice skills of analysis and synthesis. 5. To exercise multiple intelligences. 6. To learn to be expansive in their writing 7. To experience the synergy of sharing ideas and accomplishment with fellow students. 8.
