Building a thematic bibliography may be arduous, especially when the work is at the crossroads of threesubjects – economic development, peripheral areas, and the digital economy – each of them having its owntheoretical and empirical corpus. The consequence is twofold:- First, each of the three issues mentioned above may be apprehended separately. Hence the presence ofgeneral references on regional development, the digital economy, telecommunications, innovation, andentrepreneurship- Second, the subject is a fertile ground for cross-referencing. Given we have decided to avoid redundancies,arbitrary choices had to be made.
