Tom McInally for Corstorphine & Murrayfield

Tom says: 'I served our community as a police officer for the past twenty years and so I know what local families have to cope with in these tough times. As your local Councillor, I will always fight for a fair deal for the families of Corstorphine and Murrayfield.'

When he retired from the police, Tom set out on a round the world motorcycle challenge and raised over 27,000 for local charities such Capability Scotland. Tom spent thirty two years in the police and that taught him the value of a strong community and strong families. Retirement didn't stop him serving the local community where he's involved in all kinds of local groups.

Moving Edinburgh Forward-Together

A Vision for Edinburgh As a Co-operative Council we'll give local people more of a say in how services are delivered and run. And, because it really matters, we'll open up our Budget process to residents too.

'I have known Tom since he was a policeman here in Edinburgh. Since retiring he has continued to serve the community, and his public service will continue if elected to represent our community on May 3rd.'
Rhona Harrison Local Resident

A Competent Council
We'll work to get the basics right! With SNP and Lib Dems in power for five years our city has gone backwards. Edinburgh now has the dirtiest streets in Scotland.
Putting Edinburgh First Unlike the SNP, Labour will put our City first, not party politics. We'll work with all parties to get the best deal for Edinburgh and our fair share of funding from the Scottish Government.
