"Read poetry as if it were unpatterned prose".

And I think the dictionary concentrates about equally on "rhymes by ear" and "rhymes by eye".

The introduction sets the tone. Wood gives pragmatic and sensible advice. Now to the rhymes! 715 pages of them! (And lots of examples). So if I wanted to learn what rhymed with shoe ... I remember asking so badly for a rhyming dictionary. It was the late 1990s.

May I just point out, in the interest of correct spelling, that the term is 'googlewhack', though as for that, 'googlewak' has its admirers, too.

I need to use a rhyming phrase with words endless and Max the monkey in it

An béar mór replied:

Did you ever find your rhymes? I'm only asking, because I have a interest in all things simian. I might have decided upon 'bendless' and 'fax the funky', but then I'm an ape, not a poet.
