Welcome Week check-in for all new commuting and resident students. 4 ove-in Day for resident students. Information M regarding housing assignments and a move-in schedule will be provided by the Residential Programs Office. 4 residents Welcome. President Stuart Rabinowitz, P academic deans and faculty welcome the Class of 2016 and new transfer students. (Move-in will be suspended at this time.) 4New Student Barbecue.

Week

Please join fellow students, faculty and staff at Hofstra University as we welcome you to campus. The week kicks off on Thursday, August 30, 2012, with your official welcome from Hofstra President Stuart Rabinowitz. Throughout the week, there are academic programs, trips, guest speakers, and social and educational activities planned. This is a great way to meet other students, develop friendships, and get involved! Remember to check your Hofstra Pride email account and visit hofstra.edu/welcomeweek for a more detailed Welcome Week schedule and other important notifications before the fall semester begins.

Classes begin for all undergraduate students. 4 ew Student Convocation. The New Student N Convocation is a formal academic welcome to introduce all new students to the Universitys rich academic traditions, faculty, schools, and colleges.
