1 Small cross tipped or Phillips screw driver
 
1 flat tipped screwdriver
 
#4 metric allen wrench
 
Dremel tool

/cutoff wheelFor 05 and later models – some super glue to glue in the needle stops – one will be packaged with the dial ifyou need it
 
Open your speedoThe trip meter knob is attached with a #2 metricPhilips screw down the center of the knobRemove the speedometer from it’s housingIf you use a dremel tool……Use a dremel cutoff wheel to remove the bezel ring –cut all the way around – “Except” for enough to leavea tab for re-installation – this metal is very thin….Usually all you have to do is score it well and the usepliers to bend it off

If you don’t have a dremel
First thing you need is a small but sturdy electricalscrewdriver to start prying at the chrome surround ofthe speedo housing.
 
... gently place the screwdriver under the edge of thechrome rim and start prying up the edge workingtowards yourself as this seems to be easier,take itslow and be patient.
