Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Using a pastry blender cut in the butter and cream cheese until the mixture is crumbly. Gently fold in strawberries. Add the heavy cream, stirring just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Roll or pat the dough to a 1-inch thick square. Cut into 4 equal squares. Then, cut each square in diagonally to make triangles. Place on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the remaining tablespoon cream and sprinkle with Turbinado sugar. Bake until golden brown, about 18 minutes.
