Export Data of Sorbitol in China

For example, Shandong Tianli further expandedits sorbitol volume to Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh respectively with volume of 1,123tonnes, 582 tonnes and 499 tonnes in the first three months of 2010. Additionally, Roquette(China) Co., Ltd. (Roquette China) also increased its sorbitol export volume to 1,113 tonnes toVietnam in the first three months of 2010.According to Mr. Zhu, Deputy General Manager from Shandong Tianli, sorbitol application hasbeen changing from raw material for Vitamin C production to chemical industry, daily-usechemicals industry, food industry and medicine industry, and demand for sorbitol in theseareas has been growing rapidly in the world year by year. Take Nigeria as an example, Nigeriagovernment has planned to greatly boost its medicine production with CAGR of14.3% in thefuture five years.
