It is known the most important problems facedby the industries are the wear and tear of themachine parts.
This wear of the machine parts not only increasesthe cost of production but also the time wastedfor the replacement process.
The strength and durability would be gained bycryogenically treating those machine parts.
The paper presents the purpose of cryogenictreatment and what happens in the metalstructure along with its advantages and some of its applications
