STATE OF OKLAHOMA2nd Session of the 53rd Legislature (2012)HOUSE JOINTRESOLUTION 1127By:JordanAS INTRODUCEDA Joint Resolution approving permanent rules of theOklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission; anddirecting distribution.WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 308 of Title 75 of the OklahomaStatutes, any rule which establishes or increases fees or any ruleby an agency, board, or commission created by or that receives itsauthority from Title 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes shall requireapproval by the Legislature by joint resolution. If the Legislaturefails to approve the rule on or before the last day of thelegislative session, the rule shall be deemed disapproved; andWHEREAS, the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission cites thefollowing authority for the rules adopted on March 20, 2012: Section1000.24 of Title 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes; andWHEREAS, the permanent rules adopted by the Commission on March20, 2012, reflect the intent of the Oklahoma Legislature.Req.
