Fighter Concept Images This is merely a set of pictures that better portray what I wrote about in my paper.

Image 1: Super Harrier Concepts Description: In the 1990s thought was given to a supersonic Super Harrier or Harrier III design that built on the older one. This was one of the concept drawings for what it may have looked like. The idea was dropped when they concluded it wouldnt cost much less than making a completely new STOVL design. However, they didnt anticipate the design flaws, cost overruns, or delays that would plague the F-35B. These are 2 possible Super Harrier concepts.

This is essentially a Super Hornet Block III. Boeing has built a few mockups of the design.

Description: The advanced Super Hornet Block III cockpit that Boeing has made provides a battle picture that is impressively detailed and will greatly assist the warfighter in combat. The cockpit even shows the weapons engagement ranges of the Super Hornet to the pilot, enemy SAM engagement ranges, enemy aircraft locations, type of enemy aircraft, and nearby terrain with adjustable colors for representation of the ground elevation.
