Have you already posted your project on Rock The Post but you haven’t
had the expected results? Did it ever occur to you that you may be doing
something wrong? Well, consider this a checklist of what you’re doin
gwrong ( if you are). These critical mistakes will lead you to an absolutefailure in crowdfunding.
1. Not nailing the presentation
This is the starting point. It is your first introduction to the audience, and if it does not make a good impression, you will not only lose possiblefans and followers, but your chances of getting funded decreasedrastically. Make sure to make asolid presentation.Although we encourage you to constantlyupdate your videos and images, whoever was disappointed by your first video, will definitely not come back.

2. Not doing enough research
In this day and age, there is no excuse for notdoing enough research.  Keep in mind that besides the people you will reach on RTP, you willalso need to have in handy a list of blogs, e-mail contacts and
publications than will expand your exposure. If you’re not doing that by
now, think again!
3. Lack of a solid plan
of what you’re d
oing and where
you’re going? You better do! Whether you’re seeking for
pledges orinvestments, you should provide details of your project. No one willdonate to someone wholacks transparency.Investors and pledgers will want to know where their money is going and how it will be managed.
4. Asking for the wrong amount
Think twice about how much money you need in order to keep yourproject going. Asking for less may seem like a good idea, but is it?Absolutely not. What will you do when yourun out of money? Askingfor more is a bad choice as well. It will not be credible and it will resultin a total failure of the project. So you only have one choice left: figure
out how much you really need, and don’t ask for a penny less or more.
