You can either go to the URL to see the independent learning experience that I built for my fellowclassmates in EDU 276 or you can just scroll down on this Wiki page to see it. My topic was readingcomprehension and my focus was on anticipation guides. The materials that I built included:
The “KUD” – this is the Know – Understand – Do portion of the project. This was what my fellowclassmates should get out of the wiki project that I did.
A small Background Knowledge section which tells where the material is found in the book as well aswhat anticipation guides are.
Multiple examples of anticipation guides and how they can vary as well as sample lesson plans andhow to use anticipation guides
A small section on how to differentiate the material
A link to a quiz I created to test my classmates on their understanding of anticipation guides
A reference section to sight my work
CONTEXT INWHICH THEWORK WASCOMPLETED:
For this web-based Wiki, I was expected to read the textbook, as well as find additional sources to buildup background knowledge to help the students learn the material.
I was then expected to build an independent learning experience for my peers so they can learn thematerial that I’ve focused on.
I was expected to use Wiki editing tools as well as the basic word processing skils in Microsoft Wordand PowerPoint.
I was expected to assess my fellow classmates learning by preparing a quiz online.
