Congratulations Cadets! You’ve completedone o the most challenging weeks o youryear and even your lie. Encampment is anopportunity to learn about ourselves, pushour limits and accomplish things we neverdreamed we could do—and you did it.Most importantly, Encampment taught ushow to pull together as a team and accom-plish so much more than we could ever doon our own, even when we didn’t have asmuch time as we might have wanted.Don’t orget the new riends you’ve madeand the successes you’ve had as you returnback to your “normal” lie. Use your skillsto make success in all you do, and make usproud with your integrity and commitmentto excellence.

I am proud o all o you or your hard workand dedication throughout this week. Whenyou signed your basic cadet contract thetask ahead o you seemed daunting, andwhen you were directed rom the roomby the Sergeant Major, I’m sure the weekahead o you seemed that much more di-cult. However, the important thing to re-member now that graduation is upon us isthat you accomplished the tasks set beoreyou, and you did not quit—no matter howrigorous it elt at times. I commend you orullling your commitment to yoursel, yourteammates, and the Cadet Training Group.Take what you’ve learned at encampmentand apply it to your uture endeavors. Neverorget that your success was because o yourcondence in yoursel and the support andteamwork rom your ellow fight mates.

For the past eight days, you’ve enduredwhat could potentially be the most dicult, stressul, and high-intensity experience o your youth. At the beginning o encamp-ment, each o you showed up clueless andunprepared, yet ater only a week, you wereable to walk away condent and proud. All this was possible only because each o you motivated yourselves to keep push-ing everyday and not give up—and moreimportantly, by not allowing those aroundyou to quit. Now that you have completed my chal-lenge, I charge you to carry on what you’vebeen taught here and apply yourselves inlie wherever it may take you!Now carry on...
