NURSE PRACTITIONER SIGNATURE AUTHORITY13Whenever any provision of Vermont statute or rule requires a signature,14certification, stamp, verification, affidavit, or other endorsement by a15physician, it shall be deemed to include a signature, certification, stamp,16verification, affidavit, or other endorsement by an advanced practice registered17nurse (APRN) licensed pursuant to this chapter and certified as a nurse18practitioner; provided, however, that nothing in this section shall be construed19to expand the scope of practice of APRNs.20
