teachers correct misbehaviour in one student, it influences the behaviour of other students * It is not about how teacher react towards misbehaviour but the way they handle the students misbehaviour in the classroom * 5 techniques : - withitness - overlapping - momentum - smoothness - group alerting * Teachers ability to monitor all things happen / know what is going on in all parts of the classroom at all times and overcome any problem arouse * Teacher need to correct student misbehaviour instantly * The reprimand need to be strict and clear * The lesson should be smooth, interesting and gives clear instruction so that students are able to pay attention and do not commit any misbehaviours. Example : * When student are talking and playing behind during the lesson, teacher can call the student name and ask him to pay attention * Teacher order and warn the student strictly The Glassers Model of Rational Choices * William Glassers * Every individual are responsible for their own behaviour * Every individual are able to change if they are given guidance and support * Every individual behave according to their own way in order to form desires environment

* Human behaviour are driven by their needs * Basic human needs love, area and control, freedom and pleasure * Teacher need to assist and help students to make good choices * Basic human needs must be filled so that students are able to pay attention and do not commit any misbehaviours.

Examples of Application

Example : * When student misbehaviour, teacher need to recognise / identify why that happen or which needs are not filled and take the proper action * If the student feel that they do not have freedom to move around in the class, teacher can ask the student to wipe the blackboard or empty the dustbin
