The Recycling Program at Anthem will see changes at the endo April. The Mixed Material program will be discontinued.These materials include the plastic bottles and jugs and themetal cans. Abitibi, the program provider, can no longerabsorb the losses incurred due to high operating costs o thisprogram. The mixed material bins will be removed at the endo April however, the paper/cardboard containers will remain.I you wish to continue to recycle the mixed materials youcan do so by taking the plastics and aluminum/metal cansand also glass to two drop o points in Florence. Either theMain Street Park on 22nd Street in Florence or the PinalCounty Recycling Transer Station on Adamsville Roadin Florence will accept these materials anytime o the day.
