April 30, 2013The Sassy Ladies League shall be a women’s league sanctioned by the United States Bowling Congress (USBC). Theleague will bowl on Tuesday mornings at Lightning Strikes with warm up beginning at 9:30 AM and league play beginning at 9:45 AM. The league will begin bowling on September 4, 2012, and finish bowling on April 23, 2013.The league will not bowl on December 25, 2012, and January 1, 2013.The season will be a split season of 16 weeks in each half, making a total of 32 weeks.The league board of directors, which consists of the officers and team captains, shall manage this league. The boardof directors adopts the league rules, and each league member agrees to adhere to said rules when becoming a member of this league.The league shall consist of a minimum of 6 teams with a playing strength of 3 female bowlers per team, and allrules governing USBC sanctioned leagues shall apply with the following additions.
•USBC membership fees will be $20.00 and will be paid prior to bowling in this league unless these feeshave been paid in another league. In this case, a current USBC card or receipt must be shown to the leaguesecretary prior to bowling in this league.•There will be a one time individual fee of $3.00 to be paid the first week (for supplies).•The bowling fee will be $12.00 per week, with $8.50 for lineage, $3.00 for prize fund, and $0.50 for secretary/treasurer fee.•The last 2 weeks of bowling fees must be paid by the sixth week, October 9, 2012, of the season.•If a bowler’s check is returned for insufficient funds, that bowler shall be responsible for any fees as aresult and must pay cash for the remainder of the season.•No bowler may charge more than one week, and must pay the next week before she is allowed to bowl.•The team captains are responsible for the scoring and the bowling fees, not to be delinquent by more thanone week.
•Entering averages for all players shall be determined in the following order:a.Average established in this league last season, based on 21 games or more. b.Highest average from the previous season in any USBC league, based on 21 games or more.c.Bowlers who do not have a qualifying average outlined in items a or b will use the average of their firstseries bowled in this league.•Averages will be cumulative thereafter.
Individual handicap will be based on scratch of 200 at 80%.
•No pacers will be allowed.•There is a $1.00 charge to subs each week that they bowl, and subs are not eligible for any league prizes.•Subs will be allowed to bowl in the end of season No Tap Tournament only if they have bowled aminimum of 9 games in the season.•No bowlers or subs with less than 9 games bowled in this league will be allowed to bowl during the lasttwo weeks of the season, and they will not be allowed to bowl during weeks 15 and 16 of the 32 week season.
