Description

The handbook for financial professionals is similarly a joint effort between E+Co and UNEP. It is being designed to align the interests of financial institutions around the theme: rural energy service enterprises can be profitable ventures. The handbook incorporates practical information about rural energy markets and RET enterprises, as well as 'best-practice' project finance models.

Chapter 6 presents some of the programs and organizations that provide financial and technical assistance to clean energy projects in developing countries.
