    What do they look like?


    Jaguars have black and yellow fur and spots. They weigh between 100 and 250 pounds.(45 and 113 kilograms)

    Where do they live?


    Jaguars live in the rain forest in South America and they sleep on tree branches. Do they sleep in the day? No they sleep during the night like humans.

    What do they eat?


    Jaguars are meat eaters they have sharp claws to kill their prey they eat wild pigs, deer, and other large land animals. They also find fish.

    How long do they live?


    Jaguars live up to 12 to 15 years long. Cubs live with their mom for 2 years. The cubs are born blind their eyes open 2 weeks after they are born, they see better in the night and they swim very good.
