: “
A Pigeon for a Pigeon”
What’s on for today and why?
For today the class will be concluding their watch of the film. The students will watch chapters21-28 with a close focus on symbolism, as well as on the camera shots and angles. The point of view shown in the final scene is significantly different than the rest of the film. The omniscientthird person changes into the point of view of Terry’s eyes, giving the audience an understandingof how Terry felt during the Labor vs. Union scene. The homework assignment will provide anauthentic avenue for students to reflect, analyze, form and articulate their overall opinions andsynopsis of the movie.
