Support the use of Open Source Software in educational institutions (OSS) OSS, as written in the text, represents a computer

software which permits processes as observation, analysis and administration of a network system. It also follows to connect the members of the academic environment creating network meeting place where users can gain knowledge by having the possibility to interact with people, change ideas and work in team to achieve better results. In the document are mentioned also some issues concerning the use of OSS, mostly because is considered that, this type of systems may decrease the creativity of the users. By contrasting the two sides of the software, it can be concluded that the choice of using OSS is one of the best initiatives from the academic environment. In the era that we live in, computers are considered to be as our assistant. IT has increasingly developed in the last time, as prove, the everyday life it consists in at least one task which is done using the computer. If academic environment is incorporating OSS in the educational systems, people will not only be able to gain time, but is also a factor of commodity, users can stay at home while attending a class. The sense of comfort will make the users centralize their attention on what is really important, the information presented in the course session. On the other hand, the text mentions that this software integration may alternate the creativity of the users. From my point of view this could not produce because usually working in a team or interacting with people that share the same interest can only make persons to pursue their objectives. Another benefit of OSS is that it meant to be accessible by users whenever is necessary and accessibility is an important term factor which needs to be considered when looking at its issues. From my point of view the use of such kind of software should be introduced in all the academic environments because, as mentioned above, it consists in many functionalities from which users can benefit.
