5th grade teams will be visiting the Burnside Plantation for their grade level field trip. Classes will go two at a time to experience the homestead of James Burnside, the "Farm in the City." Much of the 5th grade curriculum centers on America in the 18th and 19th centuries. Burnside Plantation offers students an opportunity to see firsthand, how people in their own community lived in that era.
