ENGROSSED HOUSEJOINTRESOLUTION NO. 1123By:Faught of the HouseandBrown of the SenateA Joint Resolution approving permanent rules of theInsurance Department of the State of Oklahoma; anddirecting distribution.WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 308 of Title 75 of the OklahomaStatutes, any rule which establishes or increases fees or any ruleby an agency, board, or commission created by or that receives itsauthority from Title 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes shall requireapproval by the Legislature by joint resolution. If the Legislaturefails to approve the rule on or before the last day of thelegislative session, the rule shall be deemed disapproved; andWHEREAS, the Insurance Department of the State of Oklahoma citesthe following authority for the rules adopted on March 22, 2012:Sections 1302 and 1308.1 of Title 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes; andWHEREAS, the permanent rules adopted by the Department on March22, 2012, reflect the intent of the Oklahoma Legislature.
