The future viabilityof the profession demands thatwe have solid and skilled leader-ship at all levels of the profes-sion. This program will assist inmeeting the Centennial Visionstrategic objective of “build-ing the profession’s capacity toinfluence and lead.” It is open tooccupational therapy practition-ers (OTs and OTAs) with morethan 5 years of experience whoare currently in managementpositions. Special considerationwill be given to practitionersnew to their rehabilitation/ school-based occupational ther-apy manager/director position. Applications will be acceptedfrom May 15 to June 15. early 80 scientists andresearchers attended thefirst-ever Occupational Sci-ence Summit, held in St. Louis,Missouri, on March 11. For 3days, occupational therapyresearchers presented theirwork to colleagues to garnerfeedback and critiques. Spon-sored by Washington UniversitySchool of Medicine, Universityof Southern California, Uni- versity of Illinois–Chicago, andThomas Jefferson University,the summit brought togethersenior, mid-level, and entry-levelscientists to further developresearch in occupationaltherapy.
