Thegroundsforthemotionareasfollows:
1.OnMarch28,2012,thedefendantwasarrestedonacharge
of
conspiringto
commitsextrafficking
of
children.ThedefendantmadehisinitialappearancebeforeaUnited
StatesMagistrateJudgeintheEasternDistrict
of
Virginiaonthissamedate.2.TheSpeedyTrialActrequiresthatanindividualchargedwithanoffensebe
indictedwithinthirtydaysfromthedateonwhichsuchindividualwasarrestedorservedwitha
summonsinconnectionwithacharge.

date
of
thedefendant'sarrest.18U.S.C.'3161(h).TheHonorableLeonieM.Brinkema
previouslyordereda13-dayextension
of
timefromApril27,2012toMay10,2012.

3.Thepartiesinthiscasehavereachedapre-indictmentdisposition,withthe
exception
of
administrativematterswhichmuststillberesolved.Extendingthetimeperiodin
whichtofileanindictmentagainstthedefendantwouldbeinthebestinterests
of
justiceasitwouldallowthepartiestoresolvethismatterwithouttheneedforanindictmentortrial.
Therefore,theends
of
justiceservedbytherequestedextensionoutweighthebestinterest
of
thepublicandthedefendantinaspeedytrial.
4.ThedefendantherebyagreestowaiveanyobjectionsundertheSpeedyTrialActandagreesthatthegovernmentshallhaveto,andincluding,May18,2012,tofileanindictment.
Thiswaiverismadeknowingly,intentionally,andvoluntarilybythedefendant,andwithfull
knowledge
of
theprovisions
of
theSpeedyTrialAct,18U.S.C.''3161,
el.seq.,
andwiththe
adviceandconsent
of
counsel.
5.Thedefendantagreestothiswaiverinordertoprovidethedefendant,hiscounsel,
andthegovernmentsufficienttimetoenterthepre-indictmentdisposition.Thedefendantexpresslyunderstandsthathiswaiverisnotpredicated
upon
anyotherpromises,agreements,or
understandings
of
anykindbetweenthegovernmentandthedefenseinthiscase,andthat
nothing
contained
herein
shall
be
construed
to
preclude
the
government
from
proceedingagainst
