amendment, a base service fee in accordance with the base fee schedule in1subdivision (i) of this subdivision (1)(A). Prior to taking final action under210 V.S.A. § 556 on any application for a permit for a nonmajor stationary3source or on any request for an amendment of a permit for such a source, the4secretary shall assess each applicant for any additional fees due to the agency,5assessed in accordance with the base fee schedule and the supplementary fee6schedule in subdivision (ii) of this subdivision (1)(A). The applicant shall7submit any fees so assessed to the secretary prior to issuance of the final8permit, notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (i) of this section.
