LIVING ISLAM
Pakistan’s North-WestFrontierhaslongbeen associated withIslamicfundamentalism and tribal politics. Magnus Marsden has spent seve-ral years living here amongst the people of Chitral. His experiencesshow that, in fact, most Muslims in the region are committed toleading their lives as good Muslims, and do not support the teachingsof fundamentalist Islamist movements.
