USA invites applications for the VIth Annual Sir Syed Emerging Scholar Award (SSESA) from students of AMU and alumni, who intend to apply to Graduate programs (MA/MBA/MS/PhD) at universities in the United States for the academic year 2012-2013. It gives us pleasure to announce that starting this year we have expanded our program to non-science disciplines as well. Prospective students must have taken or intend to take the examinations, Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) and Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) that are required for admission to the Graduate programs in the USA. Applicants must send their curriculum vitae, names and contact information of three referees, scanned copies of mark-sheets with other credentials, and a one page personal statement describing their interest in pursuing Graduate studies in the United States. The deadline for the receipt of applications is March 04, 2012. Selected students will be invited for a GRE-style written test and interview at the AMU campus. Students from Science, Life Science, Arts, Commerce, Law, Business Management, Education, Medicine, and Engineering faculties are eligible. The names of students who receive the award will be announced by April 02, 2012. The examination fees (GRE/GMAT and/or TOEFL), application fees for up to 5 Universities in the United States will be paid for successful awardees.
