Train2Game student industry experience diariesLionel Adams at DR Studios
Well I’m still here, and I’ve discovered that Unity rocks! It’s a very powerful tool, and when coupled
with C# (C Sharp) it takes on another dimension. I still feel overawed by some of the tasks I have tocomplete, but at the end of the day there is a great team in place to help me out or in most cases re-
write any convoluted code I’ve written. For me the most important thing is that I really am learning
ery day: From how to structure and organise a ‘real’ game project to a different way of thinking
about how to actually code using OOP.I had to pull some late ones this week and by Friday my brain was fried. After finally debugging aschoolboy-out-of-bounds array-error (tut, tut) I could slope off into the distance onto the awaitingtrain to get some well-earned R&R before another action packed week 4.
I’m still hoping for that Matrix moment when I turn around and say “I know how to code…” –
