Shepherds Bible Romans chapter 10
1. Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they
might he saved.

# Think back to that third verse in the previous chapter. Think of all that love and the many w orks, the service that Paul had done for God. He loved his own people so much that he would have been separated from his God, if by doing so, he could have saved them. In my thirty years of teaching, I have not know n any w ho truly love and serve God that have not had this same compassion and a greater love for others than they even have for themselves.

2. For I hear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not
according to know ledge.

# They have a zeal for God, but they don’t have a zeal for the know ledge. Now unfortunately, that’s what’s wrong with our people today. They go and listen to w hat a man says, but they don’t check it out for themselves. They don’t study the Word themselves, and only this w ill keep you from being deceived in this day.

3. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their ow n righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

# l beg you to study the Word and prove it to yourselves.
4. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that

# In other words, Christ accomplishes everything that the law could not accomplish. Now there’s a qualification there “to everyone that believeth.” Or, to those that believe in Christ, but let us be cautious. Believe in w hich Christ? It is especially important in this hour to know that it must be the Christ that w as crucified on the cross, because He was the Son of God. It is not the Kenite messiah that everyone is waiting for at this time, and who is none other than Lucifer himself. This error comes about in ign orance, as Paul says here. They have not sought the know ledge; they do not study His Word. They are not the elect. Only the elect w ill he aw are of this false identity.

5. For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That
the man w hich doeth those things shall live by them.
# Moses brought the law. Now man could be saved by them, except
that living by them is not possible.

6. But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this w ise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ dow n from above:)

# Righteousness is of faith in Christ, or not to those who think they
have to literally see him in order to believe.
7. Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ
again from the dead.)
# On the same thought that is in verse 6. how are you going to reach
Him, if not by faith?
8. But w hat saith it? The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in
thy heart: that is, the w ord of faith, w hich w e preach;

# And Paul asks, w hat is the truth of it? What he’s saving here is that Christ is w ith us in our mouth and our heart through the Holy Spirit. Being the elect, He is w ith us in spirit, guiding us and w atching us.

# Remember also that He said, Touch not mine elect. Understand this. Not only is He w ith us, but soon w hen you’re delivered up before this whole world to w itness for Him, He w ill speak through you. You don’t have to be an orator or a scholar. He w ill speak through you, and your reward for this is that your people w ill hear your words. During the millennium, you w ill w alk among them teaching, and they’ll turn back to the real Father and to the true Christ. There w on’t be any more tears or hurt. Soon afterward, they w ill make their choice, when Satan is loosed yet a little w hile, w hich is the second test ing.

9. That if thou shalt confess w ith thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

# If you believe in the Lord Jesus and ow n up to your belief, you shall he saved. Remember of course, believing in Him requires obeying His com mands .

10. For w ith the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and w ith the
mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not he
