Description

This was a document I wrote/put together on the situation on Darfur particularly in respect to the possibility for private efforts. I was like many concerned about the situation and at the same time annoyed by the demonization of Sudan and Darfur...the rhetoric sounding much like how evil Saddam Hussein was and very simplistic proposals to send in some cowboys to kill the bad guys...so I investigated things a bit and here's my report and my ideas. In respect to the current situation, much is dated as I wrote the essay in early 2007.
