Description

A major new report on EMF (electromagnetic fields), the BioInitiative Report, has been produced and published by David Carpenter and Cindy Sage. Lou Slesin, editor of the authoritative Microwave News website, greeted it this way: August 29... An international group of researchers has thrown down the gauntlet. The BioInitiative Working Group is challenging the EMF power structure to set much stricter exposure standards for power lines, cell phones, cell towers and other sources of electromagnetic radiation. "'Business as usual' is unacceptable," says David Carpenter, the director of the Institute for Health and the Environment at New York's University of Albany, on releasing the working group's extensive report. Its general conclusion is that there are many biological effects at levels that are well below current standards and that the "existing safety limits are inadequate to protect public health." Carpenter and Cindy Sage, a consultant based in Santa Barbara, California, coordinated the BioInitiative group and edited the report.
Among the group's key recommendations are:
a 1mG limit for homes where children and/or pregnant women live;
a "precautionary limit" of 0.1μW/cm² (0.6V/m) for RF exposures where "people live, work and go to school."

These proposed levels are on the order of 1,000 times more stringent than current limits adopted by ICNIRP (International Commission on Non- Ionizing Radiation Protection) and the IEEE's ICES (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers' Interna-tional Committee on Electromagnetic Safety). While most of us aren't going to give up our cell phones, there are things we can do to protect ourselves. Actually even if you give up your phone, it's not enough because there's the energy from all the other phones, towers, wi-fi etc. So what can you do to protect yourself? The report will certainly be responsible for establishing an electromagnetic environmentally safer world along with EMF resolutions such as The Catania, Benevento, Reis and Venice Resolutions. This awarness is certainly relevant for motorcyclists as excessive ELF EMF magnetic field radiation has now been exposed penetrating up from motorcycle seats. The Precautionary Principle is only effective if consumers are provided with proper information. One goal is to have the motorcycle industry publish the ELF EMF radiation emissions evident above motorcycle seats. Then, at the point of purchase, consumers (especially cancer survivors) can make personal decisions regarding excessive ELF EMF magnetic field close exposure penetrating the prostate, colon, breast and entire torso. Thanks... people today have no clue because they rely on those agencies in the pocket of the abusers (both corp and gov). Cell phones are not pacifiers like most think they are. I remember my first cell phone, back in 1996.... I used it mainly for emergencies while traveling or a short call. I do about the same thing today... why would I waste my life and my focus for mostly nonsensical gabbing? If people would only realize that consumerism is sponsored by our gov. Look up consumerism and you will find the keys to the flaws of today's society (including how the masses are brainwashed and manipulated daily as planned). Thanks
